UCI Cycling and Para-Cycling Road World Championships Zurich 2024

The Cycling World Championships will be held in Zurich for the first time this year from September 21 to 29, 2024. Seefeld is also affected by the events. Below you will find all the important information for your journey to the Alma Hotel.

From 21st to 29th September 2024 you can only “drive up” to the Alma Hotel before 5am in the morning and after 7pm in the evening.

We therefore advise against traveling by car.

The best way to reach the Alma Hotel during the LOK UCI Cycling and Para-Cycling Road World Championships is by public transport or on foot as follows:

From 21st to 24th September 2024 there should be no restrictions on public transport – only the Limmatquai is closed.

From Wednesday 25th to Sunday 29th September 2024, the Alma Hotel can only be reached by replacement buses or on foot.

The replacement buses will depart from the Kreuzstrasse stop. You can travel one stop to the Feldeggstrasse stop and reach the Alma Hotel in a few minutes on foot.

There are no restrictions on the sidewalks.

There are certain restrictions for cabs. During the entire event, access is only possible via Forchstrasse.

Unfortunately, it is NOT possible to drive directly to the hotel. Cabs can only be taken to the Seefeldstrasse/Mainaustrasse junction, from where you can reach the Alma Hotel in 4 minutes.
